Thanks for reading. I think it’s great that he has helped you advance your life personally. I am not advocating for his silencing or cancellation.

I think some of the principles you outlined are great, but I’m not sure they are original to Peterson. Many of these ideas, “truthfulness” or “deep listening” for example are found in spiritual, theological, psychological, or philosophical arguments. Peterson when sharing those ideas, is redistributing them. Think Ryan Holiday and stoicism. He is not Aurelis not Zeno but rather a sharer of those ideas.

Because the ideas you named are not unique to JP, I believe they are not essential to him. Nonetheless, I’m glad you found him helpful. As a purveyor of self improvement I support your growth.

You seem to be a sound intellectual. I’m glad you read and engaged with my work.
